That appears to have done it.
Thanks to all 3 of you. I'll tag credit if any of you want, I appreciate it.
I always have problems seeing the small things, and the harder I try, the more I miss.
It's more convience for me then necessary, but I like seeing at a glance how much space I have available. The downloads from the three main addon sites would indicate that a lot of people like this addon and if it is possible to save it, then I'll try (with a lot of help from my Friends).
The only other thing close I've seen are on Titan or Fubar. The other current bag addons I've seen are "one bag" types. I like the Blizz bags fine; not into a huge thing on my screen.
Anyway, what ever the issue is, it still is rearing its ugly error, though it is a bit different this time:
1x sfbs-4.0.0.0\sfbs.lua:15: attempt to index local 'self' (a nil value)
sfbs-4.0.0.0\sfbs.lua:150: in function `OnEvent'

Thank you so much. (I will credit you with helping if you want.) You are correct, XML http://www.pastey.net/142337 will need fixing.

I didn't write the code, but am going to try and clean it up some.
I knew I was missing something real simple. I just kept reading right over the GetGlobal and never changed it.
I am stuck trying to figure out how to get SleekFreeBagSlots to stop throwing an error when loading.
I know it is going to be something simple since I tend to look too hard for a problem.
This link http://www.pastey.net/142336 has the Lua as it last was; shelving my current changes just to see what I was doing wrong from the beginning.
Feel free to "whack" me since this is a little addon and should be a breeze. Right now I am just looking to stop this error:
1x sfbs-4.0.0.0\sfbs.lua:15: attempt to index global 'this' (a nil value)
sfbs-4.0.0.0\sfbs.lua:150: in function `OnEvent'
<string>:"*:OnEvent":1: in function <[string "*:OnEvent"]:1>
I have a fairly secure system that has blocked most of these attacks. It's not perfect, but "knock on wood" I have not been compromised in several years.
I have purposely gone onto sites that download keyloggers and other spyware/malware and have not had a problem. I routinely check my system. I have several programs running which would be too much for anyone without fairly good knowledge of OS to use.
Some of these malware programs can be prevented from being installed by tweaking IE settings. A number of IE settings can be set to "Prompt". It gets annoying sometimes, but it helps prevent malware from downloading in the first place.Because of this, sometimes I actually have trouble accessing legitimate sites.
I would be willing to test to make sure the Ads are safe so you can use them.
Suggestion would be to go with a company that makes the Ads, not just funnels them.
What is appearing is some of the installed add-ons listed have strikethrough. Ths is new for me since the last time (a week or so ago) that I ran the updater. You can still check them off for updating. There does not appear to be any operational/functionality problem, it is just they add-ons have strikethrough them.
It is not just that updates are available, they are out-of-date or haven't been updated by the authors in a while. I have had some add-ons that were out-of-date, had updates available and have not been updated by the authors in some time that do not have strikethrough.
Question: What does it mean when an installed add-on has strikethrough?
1. when you mouse over the add-ons updated WITHOUT externals you now get "UNSTABLE". Is this actually a problem or CYA in case of problems? It has it for every add-on, even ones that do not use externals.
2. Found proper thread for this question and have moved it to there.
Another way to help avoid this type of spyware (which is also a browser high-jacker) is to use a pop-up stopper. I use one from http://www.panicware.com/ which is intergrated into my IE browser. I also have the settings for IE and Windows Firewall set to help prevent spyware. I am also using McAfee Privacy Guard. So far I have not had problems with spyware or other crap.
One of the biggest culprit for writting spyware is WildTangent. They claim it is not spyware, but "Directed Targeting". They log where you go on the internet, then send information to their customers so you can receive information, mostly in the form of pop-ups, from them. Since they don't send your name, WildTangent claims it's ok to spy on you and have ads sent to you. Some of these ads are persistant, they just keep popping up.
TimeWarner/AOL is in bed with WildTangent. The POGO games loads a Sun Microsystems JAVA system altered by WildTangent. It is a very good idea to remove your current JAVA and download the latest version directly from Sun Microsystems, http://www.sun.com/.
If you think you have spyware, it is highly recommended that you use 3-4 spyware removal programs. Before I beefed up the protection of my system I was loaded with spyware. I ran several cleaners (each was supposed to clean my system) just to have one find something another didn't. It did not matter which one I ran first. I even purposely allowed spyware to be loaded to see what program found what and each found something the others didn't. Running 3-4 cleaners is the only way to be 99% sure you have wiped out the spyware. Three to consider: http://www.spybot.com/, http://www.webroot.com and http://www.lavasoft.com/.

Is there a simple sample somewheres I can look at to clean this one up before submitting it to the download sites?

As noted, the code is a mess, and I guess that's why I can't figure this out.
New Lua http://www.pastey.net/142339 and XML http://www.pastey.net/142337
And thanks for the help so far.
