For some days now, the spell to create mana gems isn't shown on autobar anymore... bug or feature?

Way to go. Sphere is one of the few AddOns that I do not use (yet), but where I check forum every day to see how far it has come. I definately will use it as soon it has stances and when the buttons take all my specials. :D So, hurry up man! :)

Other bag-addons do not have this problem. I think this was not happening when I used OneBag or Baggins. Might be wrong - I did use outfitter as well for some time. Mebbe I switched to Baggins before I got rid of outfitter. Testing that wouldn't take more than a few minutes, tho. Baggins is that only bag-addon that I had to manually set to open when pressing "B". Might be related to that, I do not know the internals. :)

I have that ClosetGnome thing as well. Slightly annoying, but I do not change my wardrobe that often.

I only dabbled around with DoTimer, it seemed powerful and generally too big for me. I do not DoT opponents, and I do not raid (yet). From the description, it can track stuff that friends cast way better than other addons - if those friends use DoTimer as well. They can share information. I have not checked if it tracks, say, your mage buddy's sheep spell. *shrug* May want to give it a try. Not an Ace AddOn, tho, if that matters to you.

Which one tracks friendly CC's? I tried several and even created a thread asking about it, but noone could come up with anything.

NECB can do that. :) I think at least.

    alternatives to choronometer...

    HoTCandy
    HotMan (druid only right now)
    Sorrens Timers
    Class timer
    DoTimer
    NECB

    just to name a few

ClassTimer does not work from the log, and so can't really serve as a replacement for Chronometer. HoTCandy is nice, but very specialized, and can't do anything that Chronometer can't do. Well, except only tracking HoTs. DoTimer and NECB are both very powerful. Both can do more than Chronometer. HoTMan... no idea, is on my list of AddOns I gonna test some time soon. And prolly Sorren as well.

Try pulling a spell from your spellbook to the sphere. The (empty) buttons should start to show up as soon as you start dragging something.

I may be totally wrong, but I was under the impression that SorrenTimers is more like ClassTimer. It is a bit hard to get info on that one. Author seems to answer stuff on curse, tho. Anyways, I thought so far that Sorren uses the API and not the combat log, and can thus only tracks stuff on Target and Focus. As I said, haven't actually tried it yet, so I may be 100% wrong. :) Wouldn't mind being wrong on this one.

Well, depends. If you do use embedded libraries, you will get an update each time one of the libraries that chronometer depends on is updated. Check the changelog if you update with WAU to see what was changed, and who did it. I see 5 changes in the last 5 days... looks like people are working on this, still. :) Mebbe it is just bugfixes and localizations. And mebbe the people updating just ain't posting much on forum. *shrug* Sometimes people go crazy and scream ABANDONED! as soon as the OP of a thread takes a 2-day break. ;)

This prolly doesn't belong into the Chronometer-thread, but: I tried Classtimers + HoTCandy now, and that definately works better for me. I do not need to track stuff on multiple targets except for HoTs, so I'll stick to this combination. Except for the points that Brigid mentioned. I saw a HoT and DoT timer for druids in WAU, tho. Tried that yet? Name is Hotman or so. Stackable HoTs and using up running HoTs is mostly a druid problem, I think.

Treid it, loved it. Same issues that Brigid has, but that's not a stopper for me, just a nice-to-have atm.

I may be wrong, but isn't there an option in cooldowncount to switch off the normal cooldown animation? At work atm, so can't check. But I think I did just that, and no more square animations on my round buttons.

You're absolutely right, except that doing this causes you to lose the global cooldown animation, thats kinda an important thing to have, since it lets you know when you can press the action button again, you know?

You mean that animation running around the button during global cooldown? Hmmm... I think I never missed that because I use Quartz. Nice big animation in the middle of my screen. But yeh, I can see why it would suck without Quartz. :) Also, I am the kind of person that just hammers on his buttons - cooldown or not. One of the very first addons I installed was ErrorMonster, because I was getting horrible screenspam from my hammering during global cooldown. ^^

posted a message on explain pls how to standalone libs?
Snief: I did not notice any big change in load times when I switched to standalone libraries. What it mostly did for me: a) it saves space on my harddisk, b) PerformanceFu shows the "real" memory usage and c) it clutters my AddOn directory and WoW's addon list with lots of stuff that I do not understand. a) and c) are mostly irrelevant to me, b) is interesting info, that's why I am keeping it this way. ;)

Actually, even if I do not really understand much of what goes on in the libraries, WAU sometimes shows interesting stuff in the update notes with disembedded libraries.

Dammit, I was happy that I had finally configured my ag_UnitFrames in a way that suits me. And then someone shows up that makes me want to switch to pitbull. Evil person, you! :)

Just in theory - would it be possible to make it work with other Unitframe AddOns, too?
