it seems to me that the placement / unlock ability should be within AlphaMap itself. Like most of the cosmos addons, it is a little confusing...

Yeah I would have thought so too, but I haven't found it yet.

I don't think NDragIt suits AlphaMap - it has click-through functionality i.e. the map doesn't respond to clicks, as it is transparent and noninvasive.

I am wondering if the person who recently took it over made this change because it didn't use to be that way, and it was moveable. I stopped using MobileFrames (which is still alive) because I use Everyquest, which for some strange reason is not accessible with MobileFrames enabled. I've put in a request at EQ for that, but no response to date. So I stopped using MobileFrames and AlphaMap around the same time. It's looking like I may need to put MobileFrames in to see if it moves AlphaMap.

FluidFrames didn't work for me, which is why I'm using your very nice mod.

The reason I moved AlphaMap is because I often had it up while driving around since you can change the alpha (so it's some what see thru) and move it over to one side. (Kinda like driving a car with a map in your hand.) Instead of traveling stopping, pulling up the map, make course correction, rinse, repeat. But I'm back to doing that.....

    P.S. Thanks for the reply.

Hi, I was wondering how I can pickup AlphaMap so that it is movable? The nfi says WorldFrame, but I know that when I was using MobileFrames I could move AlphaMap around. Any suggestions? Thanks!

There I was earlier today making use of that not often used link called search. And I have learned a lesson on "be careful what you search for" you just may get more than you bargained! I stumbled on a gem of a post that truly is jaw dropping. Wowzers! I'm still shaking my head.

I actually registered just to post this. I think that it is complete BS .....Authors like this really annoy me. Do the job right or don't do it at all, and don't do it half-assed.

    Simply pathetic.

Holy cow plops Batman! What is up with all the haters! Put the frigging mod on ignore so it won't get updated. If you don't know how to put the mod on ignore in WAU go read the wiki!

I bet Freezer64 would be right in line with the all the people who would jump on Thrae when 2.4 is released and TinyTip doesn't work. These mod writers are cursed if they do and cursed if they don't.

EDIT:Freezer64 didn't read this post before he wrote.

Yesterday (on my hunter) when I moused over icons on the minimap no mouse over text showed up. I went in options and moved what "layer" the map was on. After doing that the mouse over text appeared, sometimes slowly, but it was there. Is this just a fluke?

Hey all, I added a "Blips" module, that uses Nandini's texture by default. It is also relatively easy to add your own textures if you want.

    Yea! WooHoo :)

Thrae, I just wanted to post that I'm not willing to jump on the current bandwagon of giving you grief about the current rewrite and how it's getting rolled out. I was astute enough to realize something had changed, to roll back to the version that did work, and restore my SV, and am happily waiting for you to finish what you have started. I know enough to update after you're done. BTW the new TinyTip does work, just not to my preferences. And being someone who does computer stuff in my free time, I am able to understand the concept of "this is not a paid product and you're not getting paid to do it." Things get done when they get done. Kinda like my linux server.

I very much like TinyTip and am grateful that you care enough to spend your free time making it better so it survives Patch 2.4. I like your proactive approach instead of a reactionary one. Thank you for an awesome tool tip mod.

I suspect you are using another Auction addon that is forcing the AuctionFrame to be created and TradeskillInfo hooks to be initialized. You can try applying my patch which will solve the error and start coloring the recipes. Only problem is that all non-recipe items won't be colored red when you cannot use them.

No really I'm not using anything other than classic and advanced of auctioneer. I will try your patch.

Hi I don't use WoWcon, but I do use auctioneer classic and advanced. This is the error I get at times when mousing over items in the auction window.

Which of the remaining ones should I install? I have WAU is set to install with externals and update daily. Thanks!

I couldn't find an official thread for DHud2. Yesterday I turned off the hud, but the only thing that went away was the combat hud. The player regenning hud stayed on the screen till I reloaded. Is this the way it's supposed to work?

I use minimap button frame (MBF). I logged in with it enabled. Wandered around the nodes were on, and stayed on, the minimap as they should be. I disabled MBF, there was no change. Including no gathermate minimap button (for some reason I thought there should be one). I have renabled MBF to see if I can get the node from the minimap to the screen. And there they were. I now see nodes that should be on the minimap on the screen. There has got to be a way for these two mods to play nice together. And I must note that I do not know what triggers this problem.
