It does take time for it to register across curseforge and twitch. Sometimes within the hour, sometime several. It could be that the servers get overloaded at times.

posted a message on Uploaded files to new project but it shows no main file

The Archived file is still there just change the filter setting to show all of the files or archived ones. Once, the file shows up when the filter is changed you can access the page for the file you should have the option to restore it or delete it on that page.

I've only been doing Mod-Packs since Feb '19 and it took me a few tries to find what i needed to do. So, i understand the confusion on what to do.

Hope this helps you and Good Luck on you Endeavor.

posted a message on Why is a logo required?
    Quote from efindel >>

Can someone tell me why new addon projects are required to have logos? I'm an addon programmer, not an artist or a marketer. None of my existing addons have logos, and I don't see any reason why I should need to create one for this one.

I am not an artist either and i had to create a Logo for my Mod-Pack(s) that i created. Basically, Having a Logo for a Mod-Pack is to make it stand out from the other packs.

I had to look for a picture that was free to use and i resized it to the required 400px x 400px (1:1-ratio) and added text and extra pictures to it so, that is stood out as a unique pack. That is what i believe is the reason for it is to show that it is a unique pack.

I hope what i said helps with this.

    Quote from ExrionTheWuff >>

How long will moderators take to review a modpack for publishing? I made one for me and a couple of buddies and I am very new to publishing a mod pack on curse forge. Do I need to do any other steps other than filling in information and uploading the file? Do I just wait for them to check? If not, how do I get them to check it, if so, how long does it usually take?

    couple of days

Since i started i have noticed that it generally takes a Couple of Hours for Mods to Approve/Reject. Sometimes it might take a day depends on the load they have.

When you change the size are you removing the checkmark from the box that states Keep Aspect Ratio?

They require all images to be 400x400 at a 1:1 ratio. So, please try what i stated above and then resize the image to 400x400. It will bring it to a 1:1 ratio and will be usable with you pack.

Once i did that i was able to use my logo with my mod-pack.

I noticed this line in the crash report:

"java.lang.RuntimeException: Invalid id 4096 - maximum id range exceeded"

I looked through the report and noticed that you do not have a mod called "NotEnoughIDs"

I forget what the max amount of Id's that Minecraft/Java can handle. I think it is "2048"

Try installing NotEnoughIds mod and see if you receive the same line of text at the beginning of the crash report if, one happens.

That may be what is causing the game to crash by not having said mod installed.

Let me know if it helps
