It sounds like you're trying to upload a modpack rather than a mod. Modpacks are zips with manifest.json files inside, among other files. I recommend finding a tutorial, for example how to export modpacks from the CurseForge client.
CurseForge modpacks are generally as you described: files that list the mods to be downloaded. This way when a modpack loader downloads the mods, each mod author gets credit for the download. It also helps reduce CurseForge's storage. It's redundant for modpacks to contain copies of mods that are already hosted somewhere else on CF.
Sometimes a modpack contains a mod JAR if a mod doesn't exist on CurseForge. Whatever the reason, unless it's just for personal use, including mod JARs requires permission from their authors.
It looks like Advent of Ascension is reading your keyboard/mouse input and getting confused.
See if resetting options.txt helps. This will reset all of your Minecraft options. In your modpack's folder, rename options.txt to options_backup.txt to both back it up and force Minecraft to reset it.
Failing that, restore your options.txt, start a new save with AoA disabled, and/or report the issue to Trollcraft or AoA.
I'm not very familiar with the CurseForge app, but something that came to mind is CF doesn't know what modloader version a mod requires. For example it may know your mods need Forge for MC 1.18.2, but not which version of Forge. See if changing the modloader version in your custom profile helps.
It's hard to say without knowing your mod description, but I am also surprised by the one you linked. It's possible the author changed things after approval.
Thanks for asking first. Usually that is not okay.
You need a license to redistribute that song (such as in a mod), and it gets more complicated if you're monetizing mod downloads. There are sites that offer music with licenses that might work for your needs, though I have no recommendations off-hand.
Creative Commons (CC) may be a good starting point in understanding the kinds of license(s) you're looking for. Good luck in your search.
This forum is more for player-to-player topics in my experience. You'll have more luck asking (or better yet searching) on the Discord: https://discord.com/invite/curseforge
It looks like you've done everything you can. Projects created after Aug 23rd aren't searchable right now. It's a waiting game for the site to update its search index. I've seen it take days before, and at this point I'd expect it to show up any hour now.
Sorry, I should have phrased that differently. I meant I recommend you take the log to Quark for help.
The first thing they will probably have you do is confirm this error happens when Quark is the only mod installed. That would determine if this Mixins error comes from a conflict with another mod. If it doesn't crash, keep adding and removing mods to see which other mod creates the conflict.

They're in the process of transitioning to the new authors dashboard. It's probably a related issue. Fingers crossed.

The release type of the file needs to be Beta or Release, not Alpha.

Start by using the CurseForge app to create the modpack: https://download.curseforge.com/
Then export the modpack and upload it to a CurseForge project: https://www.curseforge.com/project/create
Here's a tutorial that covers the whole process: https://youtu.be/Pr4kU1G2ZIc

One of these results supports Fabric 1.19.2, though you'll need a clock in your inventory.

Quark is throwing a fatal error related to Mixins. I would take this log to Quark to see if they can help.

Duckling requires GeckoLib.
Library Ferret 2.5.0 is bugged on servers. Try 2.5.1.
