Shift, Ctrl and Alt can all be covered by 2 fingers and a thumb, plus a mouse button, so just with 3 modifiers and one mouse button, 8 actions can be performed. Multiply that by the number of mouse buttons you use and you'll have more than enough click+modifier combinations to cover pretty much anything. Arguably Ctrl+Alt+Shift is a bit of a clunky combo to hit so that could be ignored.
I heal on multiple classes, and therefore generally keep the same 'type' of spell on the same click combo. For example, Shift+Left Click for my priest is Flash Heal, for my Shaman is LHW, for my Paladin is FoL. Magic dispels are always Ctrl+Right Click, Disease dispels are always Shift+Right Click, Shields are always unmodified Right Click, etc etc.
I know from the statuses set up in Grid if something that I can dispel needs dispelling, and I have a click-combo to take care of it if it happens. Having to worry about cursor placement within a square would be horrible, especially when using Grid at is default 'compact' size.
Windows 7 will never allow programs (except when installing) write access to files in the "Windows", "Program Files", "Program Files(x86)", or "Users\Public" folders unless running as an admin even if the user you are using is an admin. Move the WoW folder out of the folder it's in and put it somewhere outside those folders.
"Everyone" has the "Full Control" permission on Users\Public which means that non-elevated processes can write to it. The only 'protected' directories are Program Files, Program Files (x86) and Windows. Attempts to write there will cause stuff to end up in C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore.
WoW installs to Users\Public\Games by default last time I checked because of this very reason, and Win7 has no problem saving SV, updating, etc all without elevated permissions there.
I don't know of any decent alternatives. If Ace2 support gets dropped for 4.0 there's a good chance it will get broken beyond repair at some point anyway.
I've seen this happen in Acheron where the left scrollframe showing each death is only filled from about half way down with the top half missing their strings. I've also seen it in the Interface -> Addons list where only the bottom half of the scroll list are showing.
I've got no idea what causes it to happen either, but a reloadui fixes it.
The original dev is long gone. Kagaro was patching updates when I provided them previously but not actively developing and JerryBlade was attempting to fix things without much success.
The repository is locked down so only those people can commit, and the project is ARR so it can't be forked.
The only date/time that's comparable between different clients is server time, as os.date is still derived from the host clock which may or may not be accurate.
